WorkWeek allows you to edit employee information either individually or in bulk, making it easy to update profiles quickly and efficiently based on your needs.
Individual Employee Editing:
1. Locate the Employee
- Navigate to the Employees page.
- Use the Search bar to find the specific employee, or scroll through the list.
2. Open the Edit Profile
- Click the Edit icon (pencil) in the Actions column next to the employee’s record.
- This opens the employee’s profile, where you can update various details such as:
- Personal Information: Name, contact details.
- Job Details: Title, status (e.g., Full-Time, Part-Time), and hourly or daily rate.
- Contract Information: Appointment and contract end dates.
- Site Assignments: Add or remove site assignments as necessary.
3. Save Changes
- Once all necessary updates are made, click the Save button to apply the changes.
Bulk Editing Employees:
1. Select Multiple Employees
- On the Employees page, select the employees you wish to edit by clicking the checkboxes next to their names.
2. Access Bulk Edit
- After selecting the employees, click the Bulk Edit button at the top of the page.
3. Choose Fields to Edit
- The Bulk Edit form allows you to update specific fields for all selected employees simultaneously. Available fields include:
- Status: Update employment status (e.g., Active, Full-Time).
- Title: Change job titles.
- Billing Frequency: Adjust whether employees are billed hourly or daily.
- Hourly Rate / Daily Rate: Update pay rates.
- Date of Appointment and Contract End Date: Modify employment start or end dates.
- Labour Broker: Assign or update the labour broker.
4. Apply and Confirm Changes
- Once the necessary fields are selected and updated, confirm the changes by clicking the Apply button. The updates will be applied to all selected employees.
Key Points:
- Individual Editing: Best for making detailed updates to a single employee’s profile.
- Bulk Editing: Ideal for making the same change across multiple employees quickly (e.g., updating pay rates or employment status).
- Efficiency: Both methods streamline employee management, ensuring records remain accurate and up-to-date with minimal effort.
By combining individual and bulk editing capabilities, WorkWeek provides flexibility and efficiency in maintaining accurate and comprehensive employee records.
